This classic frame, with rolled arm and box-back cushions, is an enduring favourite. The arm sits at a nice height — just right for an arm rest and not too high to stretch out on. The tailored cotton slipcover is a casual look. With a generous seat depth, this frame is well suited for curled up reading, dozing, and watching movies. The feather wrap seat and feather back cushions provide a luxurious, comfortable sit.

Seat and back cushions are made from a luxurious foam/feather blend. A high resiliency foam core is wrapped in a feather/down casing, with baffled compartments to prevent the fill from shifting. The solid wood frame is made from kiln-dried indigenous hardwoods. Joints are screwed, glued and corner-blocked for extra longevity.
Our slipcovered seating is upholstered in a muslin base layer. Slipcovers are easily replaced and snugly secured by extra-sturdy velcro.

Design
Characterized by the rolled arm, moderate size and flush-front seat cushions, our Mariposa sofa is a timeless choice. Loose back cushions can be removed and rotated. They're tailored with a squared off, rather than a rounded edge — thus repeating the shape of the seat cushions. And they're constructed with a side panel, creating a box-like, rather than a knife-like silhouette. A final note about the size; 21" is a generous, but not extreme seat depth. This frame is ideal for a casual, laid back atmosphere, curled up reading, movie watching, and afternoon dozing.
