Cubby Bench in Vintage Black/Red

A handy bench with storage too. The cubby niches are ideally basket-sized, and great for shoe storage. Made in Canada from solid pine and painted rustic Vintage Black Over Red, for that element of weathered charm. The four-stage hand applied finish involves first painting the bench red, then black overtop of the red, and then distressing the black paint as to reveal the original red paint below. And with a final clear coat, the result is a convincing, two-tone, weathered, yet polished, look. Neutral black, with a subtle hint of red.
