Our return policy is straightforward and reasonable.

Any In Stock item that you'd prefer not to keep can be returned for a full cash refund. Please note, that for a full refund, items must be returned to our showroom or warehouse in original, re-sellable condition. Transportation costs will be the responsibility of the customer. For returns, we provide an Ottawa Pickup Service for $100. per trip. Out of town pickups are charged at a reasonable per km rate.

Custom and Made to Order items can not be returned for a full refund. These are items that we will have prepared at your request, and at some expense. We offer 100% store credit or 75% cash refund. This is equivalent to a policy we've maintained at The Emporium for 35 years - 25% deposit, balance payable on delivery. Because deposits are technically difficult via the web, we guarantee a 75% refund on any cancelation or return. This policy has worked well since 1978. It's important to us that you value your experience with The Emporium. In all cases, we make every possible effort to resolve imperfect outcomes.

Returns will not be accepted more than 14 days after delivery.
