We created our Claremont Table with a strong emphasis on practical quality, and with something that'll surely come in handy: end-leaf extensions. Secured by hardwood runners that fit smoothly into the notched apron, add four place settings at the drop of a hat – two per leaf. Gatherings with the whole gang are a breeze. With 44" between the legs, the 5' table will seat four to six; with leaves it will seat eight. Our Claremont table is hand made and includes two proud-fit drawers to stow tableware, correspondence, or small electronics. Offered here in combination Antique Black base with hand hewn Williams stain top, the finish provides a satisfyingly crisp contrast. An enduring piece that will elevate any kitchen or dining room.
The Kingston Side Chair is a sold, hefty chair with generous proportions. The dished seat, and steam-bent back posts make for a long-lasting comfortable sit. The seeping curve in the back rail and subtle turnings in the legs and the outside back posts soften the overall robust appearance.
Kingston Arm Chair, traditionally placed at the ends of the table, are always a comfortable choice. Support for the arms and shoulders make for a relaxed posture and a sense of destiny. They don't call it a Captain's Chair for nothing.
