A smart storage cabinet with shelving above and a drawer below. Inside the cupboard there's a full length adjustable shelf, and the drawer slides on full extension ball-bering guides for maximum access.
The stain is our mid-tone Williams. Face-frame joints are mortice and tenon, pegged for strength, and as a nice design detail to boot. The door style is raised panel. Beveled panels float within the door frame, to accommodate seasonal variations in humidity without warping the doors. The top is 1" thick with 0.75" bed moulding below. The tidy base moulding runs flush to the floor, for a clean look and to prevent dust from accumulating below. Solid pine throughout, including the v-groove backboards.
