Inspired by our well loved Wolf Chair, with curved posts and a simplified upper back rail. Absent the Wolf Chair's characteristic cross motif, the Sorel chair is a more subtle look. And with smooth curves on all four posts, it's well suited to pair with tables with rounded corners, and indeed with round tables as well.
The nice-size dished seat, a refined visual touch, and makes for a more comfortable sit. The back posts on our Sorel chair are integral to the leg assembly, transferring weight directly to the floor without stressing the robust, hand-fit joints. With a traditional solid maple frame, they are sure to withstand the test of time.
